Emergency manual
○Where to Call 
■Theft, crime, traffic accident, etc. Phone: 110 (Police Call)
■Fire, sudden illness, serious injury Phone:119(Fire Station / Paramedics Call)
- You cannot communicate in foreign languages when making Emergency Call (110 / 119).
- If you cannot explain in Japanese, please ask someone nearby who can speak Japanese to talk on the phone.
- Don’t panic! Please speak slowly.
- When you don’t know the address, please tell the operator of any major buildings or landmarks nearby.
- 10 and 119 are for emergencies. Please don’t call for consultation.
- Please don’t switch off your cellular phone after you made an emergency call.

When you call 110
- Help me → Tasukete kudasai.
- There was a theft. / There has been a burglary. → Dorobo desu.
- There was a traffic accident. → Kotsu jiko desu.
When you call119
- There is a fire. → Kaji desu.
- I have an emergency. → Kyubyo desu.
- I’m injured. → Kega o shiteimasu.
- Please send me an ambulance. → Kyukyusha o onegaishimasu.
